"Debunked"?

Possibly the claims for the usefulness of the magical number guidelines for web design have been exaggerated. I'll have to reread the original sources on this, but claims such as those made by Eisenberg here in 2004, fall into a common trap of failing to identify the web visitor task to be measured.
